The Houston police Department’s Mental Health Unit consists of one lieutenant, two Crisis Intervention Response Team (CIRT) sergeants, one Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) sergeant, one administrative/investigative sergeant, ten CIRT officers, two training officers, two HOT officers, and four investigative officers.
